4D Prize Payout Table 2026: Every Operator, Every Bet Type, Per RM1
"How much do I win?" is the first question after "did I win?", and it has a precise answer that most results sites bury or get wrong. This page lays out the complete prize structure for every operator shown on this site — per RM1 (or S$1) bet — for Big, Small, iBox, mBox and 4D Roll, with worked examples. Figures are the operators' published standard rates as of 2026; always confirm the back of your ticket and the operator's official prize structure before celebrating.
Malaysian 4D — the standard table
Magnum 4D, Da Ma Cai 1+3D, Sports Toto 4D, Sabah 88, Special Cashsweep and Sandakan STC 4D all pay from the same Ministry-of-Finance-approved structure. For every RM1 staked:
| Prize | Big bet (RM) | Small bet (RM) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st prize | 2,500 | 3,500 |
| 2nd prize | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| 3rd prize | 500 | 1,000 |
| Special (10 numbers) | 180 | — |
| Consolation (10 numbers) | 60 | — |
The trade-off is the whole game in one line: Small pays more but only on the top three; Big pays less but on all 23 numbers. Grand Dragon Lotto and 9 Lotto publish 4D tables in the same RM2,500 / RM3,500 pattern — check their own sites for any variation on special and consolation amounts.
Singapore Pools 4D
Singapore uses a different table, paid in Singapore dollars per S$1:
| Prize | Big bet (S$) | Small bet (S$) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st prize | 2,000 | 3,000 |
| 2nd prize | 1,000 | 2,000 |
| 3rd prize | 490 | 800 |
| Starter (10 numbers) | 250 | — |
| Consolation (10 numbers) | 60 | — |
Note the names: Singapore calls its ten middle prizes Starter, not Special, and pays them noticeably better (S$250 vs RM180) while paying the 1st prize less.
iBox: one ticket, every arrangement, shared prize
An iBox bet covers every arrangement of your four digits for a single RM1, but the prize is divided by the number of arrangements. How many arrangements a number has depends on its repeated digits:
| Digit pattern | Example | Arrangements | iBox 1st prize, Big, per RM1 |
|---|---|---|---|
| All different | 1234 | 24 | RM2,500 ÷ 24 = RM104.17 |
| One pair | 1123 | 12 | RM2,500 ÷ 12 = RM208.33 |
| Two pairs | 1122 | 6 | RM2,500 ÷ 6 = RM416.67 |
| Three the same | 1112 | 4 | RM2,500 ÷ 4 = RM625 |
The same division applies to every prize tier. A consolation hit on an iBox of 1234 pays RM60 ÷ 24 = RM2.50 per RM1 — which is why old-timers say iBox is for "covering" a number you feel strongly about, not for getting rich.
mBox: every arrangement at full prize
mBox (sometimes "Box") also covers every arrangement, but you pay for each one: a 1234 mBox at RM1 costs RM24, and whichever arrangement is drawn pays the full prize for RM1 — identical to having bought 24 separate straight tickets. It costs 24× more than iBox and pays 24× more when it hits; mathematically the two are the same bet at different sizes.
4D Roll: ten numbers for RM10
A Roll bet fixes three digits and "rolls" the fourth through 0–9: 123R covers 1230, 1231 … 1239. It costs RM10 (ten RM1 bets) and each of those ten numbers pays the normal straight prize if drawn.
Worked examples
- RM5 Big on 8888, drawn as 2nd prize: 5 × RM1,000 = RM5,000.
- RM2 Small on 8888, drawn as a Special: Small does not cover Specials — RM0. (Big would have paid RM360.)
- RM1 iBox on 1234, 3241 drawn as 1st prize: RM2,500 ÷ 24 = RM104.17.
- RM1 mBox on 1234 (costs RM24), 3241 drawn as 1st prize: RM2,500.
- S$10 Big on 4321 in Singapore, drawn as a Starter: 10 × S$250 = S$2,500.
Rather than doing this by hand, save your numbers with their bet type and stake in My Numbers on the results page — on draw night the site computes exactly what you have won — or use the prize calculator for any hypothetical.
Three things that surprise people
- Winnings are tax-free in Malaysia and Singapore. Lottery prizes are not income; there is nothing to declare.
- Prizes are per RM1, so RM1 is the only ticket that pays the table exactly. Everything scales linearly: RM3 pays three times the table.
- Jackpot games are separate. 4D Jackpot, Magnum Life, Toto 5D/6D and the lotto games have their own prize pools and are not covered by this table.
